The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in Croatia for June of this year amounted to 5,686 kuna, which is a real decrease of 0.3 percent compared to the previous month and an increase of 2.4 percent compared to June of last year.
Other data from the DZS shows that the average net salary paid for June of this year, on a monthly basis, compared to May, is nominally lower by 0.4 percent. A nominal growth of 0.8 percent was achieved in June on an annual basis.
The highest average monthly net salary per employee in legal entities for this June was paid in oil and gas extraction, amounting to 10,481 kuna, while the lowest was paid in clothing manufacturing, amounting to 3,353 kuna.
In the first six months of this year, the average monthly net salary amounts to 5,674 kuna, which is nominally 1.6 percent higher and real 3.1 percent higher compared to the same period last year.
The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities of the Republic of Croatia for June 2016 amounted to 7,759 kuna, which is nominally lower by 0.4 percent and real by 0.3 percent compared to May.
Compared to June of last year, this salary is nominally higher by 1.1 percent and real by 2.7 percent.
The median net salary for June 2016 amounted to 5,419 kuna. This means that half of the employees in legal entities had a salary up to this amount, and half had a higher salary.
For the period from January to June 2016, the average monthly gross salary amounted to 7,751 kuna, which is nominally higher by 2 percent and real by 3.6 percent compared to the same period in 2015.
Data on the average hourly wage for June shows that the average monthly net salary per hour for June amounted to 32.49 kuna, which is 0.5 percent lower compared to May, and 0.7 percent higher compared to June of last year.
