Humanity Against Inhumanity

It is difficult to list the celebrities dedicated to sustainable development, from Leonardo DiCaprio, James Cameron, Robert Redford, Alicia Keys, and Pink to bands like Pearl Jam, One Direction, Maroon 5, Linkin Park… In Lider’s special edition ‘Brands’, some of them are highlighted because they have strongly challenged brands that do not care about climate change.

The ‘Brands’ special presents expected and unexpected rankings and divisions across its 84 pages. It features, for example, the 100 most valuable global brands of 2016, rankings of the most successful on social media, the most memorable mascots, and the most notable ‘influencers’. It also reveals the beastly influential – the richest brand ambassadors with tails and paws.

Flirting like any modern brand with users in the digital and analog world, it explains why Croatia dances to the tune of the masses and proudly finds itself among the favorite global destinations. There is also a small dictionary of strange terms that every brand should incorporate into its development, as well as a corner for a visual moment analyzing how gifs, memes, and emoticons speak, and it explains why the lesson from the circus owner about negative and positive publicity is so poignant.

The narrative also discusses how neuromarketing enters our subconscious and why brands gain a soul in ‘Brands’, a special that has been on the market alongside Lider since April 29 (April 28 in Zagreb). It is clear, of course, that the humanization of brands is a necessity, not a fashion trend, so this special also presents five characteristics of human brands. In an era of humanity, neither material nor immaterial things can survive without them.
