Czech Airlines has returned to Croatia after a four-year hiatus. The ATR 72-500 aircraft that took off from Václav Havel Airport in Prague at 20:30 landed in Zagreb last night at 22:00.
Czech Airlines will connect Zagreb and Prague throughout the year with four flights per week. The price of a one-way ticket from Prague to Zagreb starts at 575 kuna, while return tickets start at 1055 kuna, including all taxes. For faster and simpler communication with passengers, Czech Airlines has also opened an official Facebook profile for Croatian clients in both Croatian and English.
– I am pleased that our intention to restore the regular route between Zagreb and Prague, which we officially announced at a press conference in Zagreb in January, has now been realized. Czech Airlines is expanding its operations in the area of regular and charter flights and is returning to Croatia and other neighboring countries. In addition to regular flights between Zagreb and Prague, Czech Airlines will also start a charter flight between Ostrava and Split, as well as between Košice and Rijeka this year. In May, regular flights between Prague and the Macedonian capital Skopje will also commence, said Jan Toth, Director of Sales and Marketing at Czech Airlines, adding: – We are satisfied with the current development of this route. We offer passengers attractive flying days, morning departure times from Zagreb, and evening return times from Prague, which will be suitable for all passenger profiles.
