Competition in the flagship segment of the mobile market has significantly intensified in recent months, prompting HTC to step up and offer a device that ranks among the top of the current Android offerings based on specifications.
The new HTC 10 model first catches your eye with its display, which is considered one of the best available based on many features. It has a 5.2-inch Super LCD5 screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and an impressive pixel density of 564 ppi. The screen response time is 120 ms; HTC claims this is the fastest response on any available model. The device also boasts impressive hardware on the inside. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, comes with 4 GB of RAM, and storage is offered in two versions – a standard 32 GB or 64 GB – of course, with the option to upgrade with microSD cards up to 2 TB of space. The main 12-megapixel camera offers an aperture of f/1.8, laser autofocus, face detection, 4K video with high-resolution audio, as well as the ability to record slow-motion videos at 120 frames per second in 720p resolution (still weaker than what the latest iPhone models offer in that segment). The selfie camera has five megapixels, and it is worth mentioning that, just like the main camera, it offers optical image stabilization. The phone features a fingerprint reader and a 3000 mAh battery that can be charged to half capacity in half an hour with fast charging. The colors will be gray, silver, and gold, with prices starting from 700 euros.
