At the action Buy Croatian – Croatian Product for Croatian Tourism, organized in Poreč by HGK, Agrofructus Group signed an agreement for the annual supply of 1000 tons of fruits and vegetables with the distributor – Velpro and with the Maistra hotel chains.
– This is a textbook example of how small producers can enter the tourism sector. The quality of our fruits and vegetables is unquestionable, and together we can meet the quantities required by large hotel chains, said Denis Matijević, CEO of Agrofructus Group.
Agrofructus Group, Matijević adds, collaborates with several thousand cooperators who have found a way to reach end consumers through this agreement with the distributor and hotel chain.
– Fruit and vegetable producers are now an integral part of the tourism offer. I am convinced that this is the right way to enhance the competitiveness of Croatian tourism, emphasized Matijević.
The president of HGK, Luka Burilović, on this occasion stated that such business collaborations are precisely the goal of the fair Croatian Product for Croatian Tourism and that he is confident that other Croatian producers will follow Agrofructus’s example and find space for their products in the tourism sector.
