Tisak invests ten million kuna in the Paketomat project

Tisak has announced that throughout Croatia, at more than 50 locations in all major Croatian cities such as Zagreb, Split, Rijeka, Osijek, Dubrovnik, Šibenik, Zadar, Karlovac, and others, it offers its new logistics service Paketomat.

Paketomati are positioned to meet the needs of as many potential users as possible and to make this modern method of delivery and package pickup available to as many people in Croatia as possible, 7 days a week, from 0-24 hours.

“The total value of Tisak’s investment in this project amounts to ten million kuna. The Paketomat service has been further enhanced through collaboration with the new online mall Abrakadabra as a strategic partner, where customers of top domestic and global brands also have the option to choose an innovative, simple, and affordable delivery service via Paketomats at any time of the day,” stated Hrvoje Kraljević, CEO of Tisak.

Paketomat serves as a delivery point for online purchases, but also as a classic location from which packages are sent and received. Sending and picking up packages is possible in just 7 seconds, in a few simple steps. The user receives an SMS message or email with a unique PIN and QR code to open the locker and can pick up the shipment at any time by scanning the QR code or entering the PIN code on the Paketomat screen. Sending a shipment via Paketomat is also very simple, with online reservation and payment on the website www.paketomat.hr, after which the necessary code to open the corresponding locker on the Paketomat is sent via SMS and/or email notification.

With service availability 0-24, ease and speed of use, and widespread presence at attractive locations in Croatia, the advantage of Tisak Paketomat is certainly the price of 15 kuna per package, considering it is one of the cheapest options for package delivery. Additionally, the innovation of the service is confirmed by interaction with the user through video, voice, and personalized multichannel messages.

“In 2015, Tisak significantly invested in computerization and the improvement of technical and conceptual solutions that are the foundation of the Tisak package service. SMS notifications were introduced, the track&trace system for tracking packages was improved, and a new Tisak package website was launched, through which users can create their orders even more easily and quickly,” emphasized Darko Gašpar, director of the courier services sector at Tisak.
