Đuro Đaković and Patria Signed a Contract for the Production of Combat Vehicles Worth 26 Million Euros

The company Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles has signed a contract with the Finnish client Patria Land Systems for the production and delivery of combat armored vehicles for third markets worth 26 million euros, reported Đuro Đaković on Thursday.

Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles is a company within Đuro Đaković Holding, and it has signed a contract with the Finnish company from the Patria Group for the production and delivery of “Patria AMV 8×8” combat armored vehicles, the holding stated.

They remind that Patria and Đuro Đaković have previously collaborated on the production and delivery of combat armored vehicles for the Croatian Ministry of Defense, when Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles produced combat vehicles for the Croatian army, while Patria provided all necessary technology.

The contract for the Croatian army, they emphasize from Đuro Đaković, laid the foundations for entering third markets after which a Framework Agreement on cooperation between these two companies was signed for a joint approach to third markets for the sale of combat armored vehicles.

The CEO of Đuro Đaković Holding, Tomislav Mazal, stated during the signing of this contract that this is the first export project in the defense industry for Đuro Đaković after nearly 30 years when Đuro Đaković produced and delivered M-84 tanks for Kuwait.

The head of Patria Land Systems, Mika Kari, emphasized that “Patria is satisfied with the cooperation with the Đuro Đaković Group and this contract demonstrates a strong commitment to continuing the long-standing partnership between Patria and Đuro Đaković in the future.”
