Members of HUP – Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers today confirmed a new one-year mandate for the current president of the Executive Board of the Association, Marina Pulišić, a member of the Management Board of Jadran Galenski Laboratorij from Rijeka.
As vice presidents, Mihael Furjan, CEO of Pliva, and Hrvoje Kolarić, CEO of Belupo, were elected.
– Our expectations in the upcoming period are that all stakeholders and partners will fully recognize and confirm through concrete measures the importance of domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers for the benefit of patients, society, and the impact on the economic development of the country. A discussion is currently underway regarding the new Regulation on the criteria and methods for determining wholesale drug prices and on the reporting of wholesale prices, from which we expect the final introduction of a transparent and clear system aimed at the benefit of patients, society, and the industry as a whole, said Marina Pulišić.
HUP – Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers brings together eight members: Pliva, Belupo, JGL, Krka, Hospira, PharmaS, Farmal, and IMZV (inactive), as well as two associate members Alvogen and UPGL. Together, they account for almost 100% of drug production in Croatia.
