Croatian companies CIO, Eurovilla, and Opereta at the largest investment fair in Europe

Croatian companies CIO, Eurovilla, and Opereta are participating in the largest investment fair in Europe – Mipim, which is being held from March 15 to 18 in Cannes, France. The fair showcases projects in the fields of real estate, tourism, and infrastructure, with 21,400 participants and 4,800 investors.

Hrvoje Paver, Assistant Director of the Trade Sector at the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), emphasizes that the HGK has enabled members of the Real Estate Business Association to participate in the fair and present their projects.

– Mipim is a key place for presenting development projects that can contribute to economic development. It is a positive fact that the crisis is not felt at all and that the situation is better than before 2008, added Paver.

– I am extremely satisfied with the performance. Numerous presentations and contacts I have made give us a new perspective on the real estate market. HGK has supported the aspirations of real estate traders to present their quality projects in a market that can financially realize million-dollar investments, which ultimately means the creation of new jobs, said Boro Vujović, owner of the Opereta agency.

– Participation in this fair provides the opportunity to find an investment partner for our projects. We have established good contacts with banks that want to invest in the tourism sector, as well as in other interesting projects in Croatia. The uniqueness of Mipim is its all-day program, presentations, and the opportunity to talk with key people from major hotel chains, developers, and consultants that we would not have been able to reach without the mediation of HGK and participation in this fair, said Sergio Serdarušić, owner of the Eurovilla agency.

On the first day of the fair, FDI magazine awards were presented, with the City of Zagreb receiving the award for “Top 10 Large Cities Best For Human Capital And Lifestyle” and “Top 10 Southern European Cities Overall.”
