– Due to exceptionally high demand, the subscription books were closed half an hour earlier than initially announced, for the first time in history since the Republic of Croatia began issuing bonds on the domestic capital market, stated the Ministry of Finance.

They also emphasize that investor interest was significant, exceeding 10 billion kuna, which was more than 2.5 times above the planned issuance amount, as well as a quality offer. This allowed Croatia to issue bonds at a price of 102.248 percent, with a yield of 3.99 percent and a minimal premium for the new issuance of 2 basis points, concludes the statement from the Ministry of Finance.

In the initial issuance in December last year, the Ministry of Finance issued bonds on the domestic market in the amount of 6 billion kuna, with a coupon interest rate of 4.25 percent. The bonds were then issued with a yield of 4.4 percent, without a premium for the new issuance.
