PBZ will distribute last year’s profit of 193 million kuna as dividends

Almost the entire net profit of Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ) achieved in 2015, amounting to over 193 million kuna, will be distributed to shareholders through a dividend of 10.16 kuna per share.

This is stated in the call for the PBZ General Assembly, scheduled for March 25, which indicates that the Bank’s net profit last year amounted to 193.16 million kuna.

Shareholders are proposed to distribute 193.14 million kuna from that amount for dividends, or 10.16 kuna per share.

The remaining approximately 25 thousand kuna of profit from last year would be allocated to retained earnings. The total retained earnings of PBZ amount to over 7.44 billion kuna, according to the call for the shareholders’ assembly.

“It is proposed to pay a dividend of 10.16 kuna per share, based on the business results achieved in the previous year, in accordance with good liquidity reserves and high capital adequacy,” PBZ announced via the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

The dividend will be paid on April 21, and the right to payment will be granted to PBZ shareholders who will be registered in the shareholders’ book at the Central Clearing Depository on April 14.

The largest part of the total amount earmarked for dividend payment, nearly 189 million kuna, will be paid to the Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo, which, according to current data, owns almost 97.5 percent of PBZ shares.

According to the financial calendar, PBZ will publish the unaudited financial report for the previous year on February 29.
