Two new models of LG’s K series, K10 and K4, were recently presented at CES 2016, and from this month they can be found for sale worldwide, including Europe. This series is aimed at the mass market.
Today, the requirements that such devices must meet are significantly higher than a few years ago as competition is greater than ever. Therefore, as emphasized by LG, these models combine premium design and user experience with top-notch camera features, all at an affordable price point.
The K4 is the so-called entry-level model with a 4.5-inch display, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, and LTE connectivity. The K4 brings Gesture Shot options and a selfie flash inherited from the stronger LG G series. The device dimensions are 131.9 x 66.7 x 8.9 mm, and it is available in white and indigo colors.
The K10 model, on the other hand, is aimed at a younger audience that is constantly on social media. It comes with a 5.3-inch HD In-Cell Touch display and camera specifications that can compete with those of premium devices. The main camera has 13 megapixels, the selfie camera has eight megapixels, and the battery has a capacity of 2300 mAh. Manufacturers emphasize that the ‘glossy pebble’ design of this device is complemented by LG’s new 2.5D Arc Glass concept for a flawless appearance. The battery cover features a woven pattern that allows for better grip of the device in hand, especially on the move. Dimensions are 146.6 x 74.8 x 8.8 mm, and colors include white, indigo, and gold.
