The eighth installment will be filmed in Dubrovnik for about ten days, representing the largest expenditure to date, with an investment of around five to six million dollars, making it one of the largest and most expensive projects per filming day.
Director of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre Hrvoje Hribar confirmed on Friday that the new installment of the globally popular film franchise “Star Wars” will be filmed from March 9 in Dubrovnik, according to media reports.
– Preparations for this filming have been ongoing for months, but due to Disney’s corporate-political tactics, official announcements could not be made – said Hribar.
The eighth installment will be filmed in Dubrovnik for about ten days, but Hribar emphasizes that this represents the largest expenditure to date, with an investment of around five to six million dollars, making it one of the largest and most expensive projects per filming day.
