Looking for a job? Google is hiring 36 specialists

Google has announced a demand for dozens of specialists on its website. There are 36 job openings

Google has announced a demand for dozens of specialists on its website, including engineering professionals, who could assist in the development of self-driving vehicles. There are 36 job openings related to Google’s Google X project. They are looking for, among other things, engineers who will work on vehicle motion control, robotics engineers, experts dealing with sensors and displays, as well as materials and marketing specialists.

The company declined to comment. In previous instances, Google has dismissed the possibility that they are interested in developing self-driving vehicles.

However, many experts in the automotive industry believe that this tech giant will partner with established traditional vehicle manufacturers in the development of autonomous vehicles, and it is assumed that they will supply software and be pioneers in the production of fully autonomous vehicles.

The development of autonomous, or self-driving vehicles, is a priority for both traditional vehicle manufacturers and tech giants like the aforementioned Google, Apple, or Uber Technologies. Google is also looking for experts in the area of setting up and optimizing production facilities, designers who will work on parts of electronic modules for self-driving vehicles, and similar roles.

In January, John Krafcik, the head of Google’s self-driving car project, stated that through partnerships with established vehicle manufacturers and parts suppliers, he aims to accelerate the entire project during 2016. His previous work experience at Hyundai and Ford has fueled speculation that Google plans to create its own vehicle.

Google’s vehicle prototypes are currently being tested in Mountain View, Austin, and soon in Kirkland.
