Most Denies Speculation About Petrov’s Resignation

After Slobodna Dalmacija reported that Božo Petrov plans to step down as president of Most, this political group denied the information on Twitter.

They state that Petrov will remain at the helm of Most, and any possible changes will relate exclusively to strengthening the base in order to become, they claim, the strongest political option.

Petrov has evidently assessed that Most of Independent Lists, after što has entered the Government, needs to profile itself as a proper political party, with local branches, expert councils, and infrastructure. He has taken on the role of Deputy Prime Minister, so it is clear that Most has assessed he will not have time to dedicate to strengthening his own party on the ground, writes Slobodna Dalmacija, which mentions the mayor of Omiš, Ivan Kovačić, as a possible successor for the party leader.
