By merging KD Life Insurance with Adriatic Slovenica and entering the non-life insurance market through its branch, Adriatic Slovenica has begun a new phase of its operations in Croatia.
This was announced at today's press conference held in Zagreb. The branch, named AS Insurance, will continue to offer life insurance, but will also start online sales of auto insurance.
– On one hand, as before, we will continue to offer innovative products in life insurance, primarily our well-known Fondpolice, but under the 'new colors' of AS Insurance. On the other hand, we are entering an interesting auto insurance market with our original business model, which is the sale of policies via the internet – stated Neven Tišma, director of the branch in Croatia, adding that he is extremely satisfied with the Croatian bureaucracy and institutions that have greatly assisted them with their efficiency and speed throughout the process.
The process will positively impact the position of our insured clients in Croatia, considering that all rights and obligations have been transferred to Adriatic Slovenica, explained Gabrijel Škof, president of the Management Board of Adriatic Slovenica. Adriatic Slovenica is the second largest insurer in Southeast Europe with more than a thousand employees caring for over 670,000 clients and more than 1.5 million insurance policies.
