AgroFructus Group has acquired three major purchasers of fresh fruits and vegetables in the Republic of Macedonia, further strengthening its position as a leader in the region.
These are the companies VANT dooel, Strumica, EURO-AGRIJA, Novo Selo, VBA-FUTURA dooel Strumica, which annually purchase around 20 thousand tons of fresh fruits and vegetables, with a market value exceeding 50 million kuna.
AgroFructus Group is the owner of the largest and most modern purchasing and distribution center for fresh fruits and vegetables in the Republic of Macedonia.
– With this acquisition, we will strengthen our position in the procurement market, further fill our capacities, and expand our raw material base. The expected effect is an increase in volume, as well as expansion into new markets, said Denis Matijević, CEO of Agrofructus.
The plan for the future period is to continue activities aimed at further concentrating operations with fresh and canned fruits and vegetables through organic growth, new acquisitions, and greenfield investments.
