Why did Miro Cerar speak ‘Croatian’ with ‘Orešković’?

Davor Jurkotić is becoming the media hero of our time (and the region). First, as the mandate holder, Orešković spoke with former president Josipović.

He only exposed him when the ‘mandate holder’ suggested in his ‘broken’ Croatian that he write – a new anthem. The next target of Jurkotić/Orešković in the show ‘In a Healthy Mind’ was his Slovenian colleague. He managed to reach Miro Cerar by phone and had a cordial conversation with him. He invited him ‘fishing’ and opened some bilateral issues, such as the razor wire at the border. A meeting has also been agreed upon soon, with only the timing left to be arranged.

When the recording of the conversation spread online, Cerar’s office admitted that the Slovenian prime minister fell for Jurkotić’s trick and they believe that the first meeting with the new Croatian prime minister will also start in a relaxed tone. Part of the Slovenian public is angry that Cerar did not see through the impersonator, but his main complaint is that he spoke Croatian even though English and German are also used in international communication. Indeed, the real Orešković would have understood him better in English.
