Agreement Signed on Reform Government Which Lovrinović Will Not Support

The Patriotic Coalition, the Bridge of Independent Lists, and the Milan Bandić 365 party signed an agreement on the reform government on Friday evening, defining cooperation in the coalition government.

The agreement contains the rules of the game, the definition of cooperation in the reform government in all forms and dimensions of cooperation, stated the leader of the HDZ and the Patriotic Coalition, Tomislav Karamarko, who was supported by the leader of the Bridge, Božo Petrov.

They dismissed speculations that there was any dispute regarding the signing of the agreement, given that it was not signed until this morning, as previously announced. Media reports indicate that both rated mutual trust between the signatories of the agreement as a five.

At the same time, Bridge representative Ivan Lovrinović stated on Friday evening that he would not support the government of mandate holder Tihomir Orešković because, he claims, the Bridge has abandoned key elements of the economic program on which it gained the trust of voters.

Additionally, President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović granted mandate holder Tihomir Orešković another 30 days to form and present the government and its program in the Croatian Parliament, it was learned from the President’s Office. Namely, at midnight, the 30 days in which the mandate holder is obliged to present the members of the government and its program to the Parliament expires. According to HRT, Grabar-Kitarović did this at Orešković’s request, signed the decision, and it immediately came into effect.
