The year we have just passed brought some significant serious events that we previously reported in the weekly Lider, but in the past 365 days, there were also many small events that remained recorded only on the margins of public interest.

31. Leonidas for All Time – Dinko Cvitan
He discovered 300 Croatian Spartans, who fight against crime almost barehanded on the Thermopylae floors of the offices in DORH and USKOK, even without a sufficient number of recorders.
32. Silver Membership Fee – Luka Burilović
HGK remembered companies ‘for 10 kuna’ and charged them 20 kuna monthly membership fees, thus enriching the chamber’s budget by 2.28 million kuna.
33. Gold Membership Fee – Dragutin Ranogajec
The Crafts Chamber delighted 80 thousand surviving craftsmen by raising the monthly membership fee from 44 to 52 kuna, thus collecting 7.68 million kuna.
34. Order of the Fallen Constitutional Court – Jasna Omejec
The likely last president of the Constitutional Court, which is left without a quorum and without realistic prospects for the election of new judges requiring a two-thirds majority.
35. Red Fez – Ladislav Ilčić
The head of Hrast became famous for his statement about the significant differences between Muslims and Croats – in work habits, in relation to life, towards women.
36. Golden Right Hand – Aleksandar Stanković
He wanted to host Ilčić on the show ‘Sunday at 2’, but ‘an unknown someone’ stopped that appearance at the last minute, so Milana Vuković Runjić stepped in.
37. Croatian Karađorđe – Emil Tedeschi
When Tedeschi’s Droga Kolinska bought the oldest Serbian mineral water, Belgrade’s Blic lamented in an article titled ‘What would Karađorđe say?’
38. Mister Honorarium – Damir Kontrec
A Supreme Court judge elected to DSV reported record honorariums – 730,000 kuna. And while he is earning honorariums, his department has an increasing number of unresolved cases.
39. Golden Needle – Ivan Rude
After failing to gather signatures for the presidential elections, he attempted to save the Immunological Institute through the initiative Visia Croatica, which the state ultimately takes over.
40. Companions of the Year – Jacques Houdek and Tony Cetinski
After fierce arguments on stage and behind the scenes of HTV’s series ‘The Voice’, they are together again in the new season. Friendship (and honorarium) is stronger than disagreement.
