About a year ago, I wrote here about the absolutely unacceptable practice of domestic telecom companies that camouflage the prices of mobile devices so skillfully that detailed readings are required to assess the true cost for the customer. It seems that nothing significant has changed to this day. It is the holiday season when this practice reaches its peak, and various quasi-discounts and quasi-offers are found at every turn. Smartphones are advertised at prices of just a few kuna, with one company offering certain models for a one-time payment of only 9 kuna, while another offers them for a still affordable 18 kuna. However, there is also a part written in smaller letters, or only visible when clicking on details, which includes the amount that is deducted monthly for the full price of the device, and, of course, a specific tariff under which the stated price of the device can be realized.
