Nikola Dujmović elected president of the IT Association of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce

Nikola Dujmović was unanimously elected as the president of the IT Association of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce at the Assembly of the IT Association held on December 15.

With this, Dujmović succeeded the previous president Ante Mandić, CEO of the IN2 group.

– Until recently, I was a staunch opponent of the Chamber, but while traveling the world in various economic delegations, I realized that the Chamber must exist as it represents companies. Our task is to fight with the government for the improvement of the economic situation. The hero will be the one who simply abolishes the bizarre laws that the government has enacted, said Nikola Dujmović, CEO of the Zagreb-based IT company SPAN, after being elected as the new president of the IT Association of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.

The representatives of the member companies of the Association gathered at the Assembly were greeted by Tomislav Radoš, Vice President of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce for Industry and IT, Energy, and Environmental Protection, who spoke about the importance of the IT sector for the overall economy. He also urged the member companies of the Association to continue contributing to the work of the Chamber with their proposals.

The Assembly also elected four vice presidents of the Association: Amera Zulić Vrabec from the IN2 group, Plamenko Barišić, CEO of King ICT, Tomislav Bronzina, director of Citus, and Mate Krpan, CEO of mStart. A new Council of the Association was also elected, which includes, in addition to the president and vice presidents, Mladen Baranek (Miadria), Željan Rikalo (Holobit), Zoran Spoja (Micro process), and Ivan Vidaković (Microsoft Croatia).

The membership in the Council of Andrej Levenski (Pandora studio), president of the Gaming Group of the Association, and the president of the Professional Groups for IT operating at the county chambers in Pula, Rijeka, and Osijek was also confirmed.

The Assembly also adopted a new Business Rules of the IT Association of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. The IT Association gathers and represents all companies registered in Croatia for IT as their primary activity.
