“From Vukovar with Love” is the new advertising campaign of Borovo, designed by the agency Racional Internacional, after a long absence from the small screens.
The star of the new campaign is actor Špiro Guberina, who has already won over domestic audiences with many legendary roles.
In the new TV spot, Špiro Guberina is presented as an archetypal hipster compared to young and modern hipsters, caricaturing the differences between the two generations that are evident, but clearly recognizing the aspiration for the quality of Borovo footwear. The cast is complemented by Marija Hrvoić as Špiro Guberina’s companion, while the younger couple is played by Lana Harjaček and Domagoj Janković.
The creative idea is credited to Bojan Opačak and Bojan Kanižaj, directed by Mario Mlakar, with cinematography by Dragan Šiša and the entire team from the production house Racional Internacional.
– We continuously invest in research and development of new brands to become a regional leader in the production of leather and rubber footwear, thus continuing to represent the quality and tradition of Borovo. This campaign aims to show how Borovo footwear satisfies the tastes of all generations, stated the marketing and research manager Martina Tomljenović.
