With the deadline for the payment of subscribed shares having passed, the process of capital increase for the Zagreb Stock Exchange was completed on Wednesday at noon, during which 14.9 million kuna of new capital was raised, the Exchange announced.
The capital increase plan aimed to raise a maximum of 15 million kuna through the issuance of new shares. In the first round of the capital increase, 28.5 percent of existing shareholders participated, subscribing 4.27 million kuna of new capital. In the second round, qualified investors participated, subscribing 10.63 million kuna of new capital, što totaling 14.9 million kuna.
Additionally, on Wednesday, the constitutive meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange was held. The same members as in the previous term will participate in the work of the new Supervisory Board, with the exception of Patricia Bakšaj, Director of the Legal Affairs and Compliance Department of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, who will be replaced as the workers’ representative by Iva Galić, Director of the Market Department of the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Dubravko Štimac, President of the Management Board of PBZ Croatia osiguranja, was elected as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
At its constitutive meeting, the Supervisory Board confirmed the success of the capital increase, subject to the fulfillment of the only remaining item necessary for the acquisition of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, which is the approval of the Slovenian capital market regulator – the Agency for the Securities Market, after which final activities related to that acquisition will commence, concludes the announcement from the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
