In order to better address the specifics of local markets and the economic challenges of the global and regional economic situation, the American company 3M has decided to adapt its operations in Europe by forming several separate regions.
According to the company, there has been a consolidation of companies, branches, and representative offices in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania, and Bulgaria, resulting in the formation of the Southeast Europe (SEE) region, which will support activities in several smaller countries in the region.
Long-time director of the Adriatic region Tomislav Šlat has been appointed as the CEO of the newly formed SEE region. 3M has been operating in Croatia for 31 years, owns factories on all continents, and is considered among the top 100 companies in the world.
