Healthy Meal Standard, a certificate for healthy menus in hospitality and educational institutions for individuals with special dietary needs, has become part of a voluntary regulation that anyone wishing to improve their offerings can join.
As such a practice does not exist in Croatia, the methodology devised by Diana Gluhak, based on the best European principles and needs, is for the first time moving from professional frameworks into practice since the introduction of the eponymous certificate.
– Everyone who voluntarily implements the Healthy Meal Standard will show care for vulnerable categories of society, improve the quality of life, and ultimately enhance the standard and quality of service in tourism and hospitality as well as in other social activities – said Gluhak, adding that her association Healthy Meal not only provides certification and accreditation but also complete monitoring of the improvement of the nutrition system for vulnerable groups.
