Damir Zorić President of HUP-Association of Financial Operations

The Croatian Employers’ Association held the Electoral Assembly of HUP-Association of Financial Operations. Dr. sc. Damir Zorić, CEO of Euroherc osiguranje d.d., was elected as the President of the Association.

Members of the Executive Board of the Association appointed are Zdenko Matak, member of the Management Board of Erste & Steiermärkische Bank d.d., Dinko Lucić, member of the Management Board of Privredna Banka Zagreb d.d., Marko Remenar, member of the Management Board of Zagrebačka banka d.d., Gordan Radin, director of the Legal Affairs Sector of Croatia Osiguranja d.d., Damir Grbavac, CEO of Raiffeisen društva za upravljanje obveznim i dobrovoljnim mirovinskim fondovima d.d., Zdenko Adrović, director of the Croatian Banking Association, Hrvoje Pauković, director of the Croatian Insurance Bureau, and Željka Pirija-Benaković, president of the Croatian Credit Union Association.

HUP-Association of Financial Operations gathers leading banks, insurers, funds, leasing companies, debt collection agencies, and companies specialized in business-financial consulting as well as auditing and consulting firms. Members of HUP-Association of Financial Operations together hold 90% of the market share in financial services.

The Association has launched several initiatives aimed at better familiarizing entrepreneurs and citizens with financial tools and instruments available in the market. The Association also participates in the project of the National Strategic Framework for Consumer Financial Literacy and collaborates with the Zagreb Stock Exchange, the Association of Pension Funds, and other related organizations. Through its work, the Association actively contributes to strengthening the perception of the financial industry as an industry that supports the entire economy and will in the upcoming period collaborate even more strongly with other industrial associations within HUP, especially with HUP-Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. The Association will continue to participate in the most important legislative activities, propose new initiatives, and engage in resolving the main issues that disrupt the investment and business climate.
