UNIQA Introduced New Services

New, unique services in the Croatian insurance market are Mobile Assessors and UNIQA Non-stop insurance, which the insurance company presented today at a working breakfast with journalists at the Westin hotel.

These are innovative and efficient solutions that will significantly contribute to the quality of insurance services because wherever an accident occurs, Mobile Assessors process vehicle damage in record time. For this purpose, UNIQA, in collaboration with AUDATEX, developed an IT tool that allows the assessor quick and secure access to necessary data in real-time via tablet mobile devices. Regardless of where they are, the assessor can photograph the vehicle, determine the extent of the damage, estimate the costs needed for vehicle repairs, document what is necessary, and consolidate all collected information to shorten the duration of the damage processing procedure. UNIQA clients can report damage by calling the info number or by mobile at *200, as well as online at www.uniqa.hr, and arrange the most optimal time and place for vehicle assessment.

The second service is UNIQA Non-stop, which is a permanent telephone service available to clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether it is a working day or a holiday, clients can report damage by calling from a mobile phone at *200 or 01 6324 200 and receive necessary instructions and advice on what to do. UNIQA experts will record the damage and provide information on further procedures to ensure that the claim for compensation is resolved as simply and quickly as possible. By using the UNIQA Non-stop service, clients can also obtain necessary information about their policies or learn details about insurance products.

“We want to provide our clients with top-notch service and be there for them when they need us. By introducing the Mobile Assessors and UNIQA Non-stop services, we demonstrate how important the trust of our clients is to us and we want to let them know that they can count on us at any time,” emphasized Saša Krbavac, CEO of UNIQA insurance, which this year was awarded the ICERTIAS Customers’ Friend certificate given by satisfied clients of UNIQA.

UNIQA Croatia is part of UNIQA International, the Austrian UNIQA Group, one of the leading European insurers, operating in 19 countries in Western, Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, where it has 10 million clients and 14,316 employees. The gross premium written by the UNIQA Group increased by 3 percent in 2014, amounting to more than six billion euros, and the profit before tax was 377 million euros.

UNIQA Croatia ranks fourth in the domestic insurance ranking, last year it merged with Basler insurance, and the acquisition was completed in a record time of just five and a half months. It has 739 employees, 70 offices across Croatia, more than 340,000 clients, and a market share of seven and a half percent.

The company operates socially responsibly; it is a partner in the project “Ordinacija iz bajke,” UNICEF’s “Donacija za pomoć djeci obuhvaćenoj izbjegličkom krizom” and “Zajedno od početka,” as well as “Pun kofer prijateljstva,” helping children from flooded areas. It also sponsors education, culture, and sports and organizes public education through the UNIQA living room project.
