Ina is establishing the company Blue Team, which will operate as a service IT center for the Ina Group and other clients, with employees from Ina’s IT Services Sector transitioning to it.
Ina announced that the company, which is wholly owned by Ina, will begin operations on Tuesday, December 1. The company will function as a shared service IT center with an emphasis on providing IT services, including IT systems and infrastructure management for the companies of the Ina Group and others. The Blue Team will perform services that were previously part of the Ina IT Services sector.
The long-term strategy of the newly established company is to provide high-quality professional IT services, unique at the level of the Ina Group, while simultaneously improving efficiency at the level of the Ina Group and developing synergy by providing IT services to all companies of the Ina Group and others. They also note that employees of the IT Services Sector have been offered the opportunity to transition to work in the newly established company Blue Team.
The president of the Ina union, Maja Rilović, stated that this concerns 120 workers who will retain the continuity of their employment tenure and rights acquired as employees of Ina by transitioning to the new company. She assesses that the security of their jobs is not threatened, and considers the establishment of the Blue Team a better solution than if Ina had secured IT services through outsourcing. She adds that the work regulations will initially apply to the workers of the Blue Team, and during January, she expects the conclusion of collective agreements for Ina’s companies, including for the Blue Team.
