Belgian Anne-Françoise Nesmes is the new CEO of Genera after Marijan Hanžeković sold the pharmaceutical company to Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC for a total of €51.4 million.
Nesmes has been the Chief Financial Officer of the international veterinary group Dechra since April 2013. Prior to Dechra Group, she worked at GSK, where she gained extensive experience over a 15-year career, including internal audit, corporate planning, and commercial finance. Before that, she worked at companies such as John Crane, Tetra Pak, ADP, and Caterpillar UK. Due to her significant international experience, Genera concludes that Anne-Françoise Nesmes brings a strong focus on business improvement, management, mergers and acquisitions, and strategy implementation.
