After the Zagreb hotels The Westin Zagreb, Sheraton Zagreb Hotel, Hotel International, and Panorama Zagreb Hotel, Hrvatski Telekom has implemented a converged (ICT and telco) solution in the newly opened Dubrovnik hotels Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera and Mlini.
All hotels are owned by the company HUP-Zagreb d.d., one of the leading companies in the tourism and hotel industry sector in Croatia.
Following the initial 1219 rooms in Zagreb, the Hotel TV solution has also been realized in an additional 399 rooms in Dubrovnik. The solution now includes more than 80 television channels defined by the standards of one of the world’s largest companies – Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc – with which HUP Zagreb continuously collaborates and keeps pace with global standards in hotel service.
In addition to new movies in the Video Library, PayTV now brings new attractiveness to the service and opens new opportunities for revenue/consumption growth in hotels.
The Hotel TV solution from Hrvatski Telekom is also the only solution of its kind on the Croatian market with regulated copyright on the programs broadcasted to hotel guests.
„The solution we have implemented in HUP hotels demonstrates our performance capability through all phases of a complex ICT project – from creating a sales opportunity to implementing the solution itself. The solution is part of our e-Hospitality concept in which, depending on the specific needs of the user, we combine practically all services and technologies at our disposal – fixed, mobile, and cloud. Hrvatski Telekom is transforming into a kind of digital broker of converged services, and our path in this regard is clear – a converged offer with top quality – where quality is the critical ingredient necessary for creating a positive customer experience and building relationships based on trust and healthy business interest“, emphasized Aljoša Pavelin, acting director of the ICT solutions delivery management sector.
