Bakić: Croatia is the Most Socialist Country in Europe

Croatia is the most socialist country in Europe where investment in real estate and a job in public service is considered the greatest success. The word capital is a terribly ugly word, especially in the connotation with work and the worker that this ‘capital’ suppresses. And here we celebrate and support precisely that, the synergy of capital and labor, employers who manage human resources well, said Nenad Bakić, founder of Selectio, at the presentation of his new project QHR.

After ten years of experience in employee management consulting, Selectio has developed its QHR, Quality Human Resources, project of Quality Management of Human Resources, which offers the necessary knowledge and experience tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, provides insight and the best tools for employee management and thus enables business growth.

Companies that recognize the value of human potential have far better business results, emphasized Bernard Jakelić, Deputy Director General of the Croatian Employers’ Association (HUP), and he was supported by Ana Miletić, a human resources management consultant at Selectio. She presented data showing that structured human resource management can significantly change not only the work atmosphere but also the overall business outcome, and based on that, positively influence results.

– First, it is necessary to establish the strategic goals of such an approach, and through a simple analysis of the current state, it is possible to ensure not only significant savings but also identify strengths and weaknesses in employee management within the organization and provide guidelines for further development of practices that lead to increased employee engagement, more efficient management, and achievement of business goals. The new strategy then directs the entire management towards effective management and orientation of human resources through interactive workshops that educate managerial staff and develop the necessary tools to successfully communicate and monitor the performance indicators of human resource management – emphasized Miletić.
