The Bridge of Independent Lists, which is crucial for the formation of the new Croatian government, continues negotiations today with HDZ and SDP.
Negotiations between the coalition Croatia is Growing and MOST regarding the areas of justice and entrepreneurship began on Tuesday morning at the SDP headquarters. MOST’s five-member team is led by Tomislav Panenić, accompanied by Juro Martinović, Ivica Mišić, Jasna Makinić, and Dario Čehić. The team from the Croatia is Growing coalition includes SDP’s Branko Grčić, Orsat Miljenić, and Siniša Hajdaš Dončić, HNS’s Ivan Vrdoljak, and Labour Party member Nansi Tireli.
The party leaders are not participating in the negotiations, and the president of SDP and Croatian Prime Minister Zoran Milanović briefly greeted the meeting participants at the beginning, as reported by the party.
According to media reports, MOST’s goal is to establish a reform government, and the prime ministerial position is not their priority in the negotiations.
The leader of the Reformists, Radimir Čačić, also arrived at the SDP headquarters, where he reiterated to journalists that he came to support the Croatia is Growing coalition in forming the government, but this does not mean that if this coalition fails, the Reformists will not support the Patriotic Coalition in attempting to form a government.
Negotiations with HDZ are scheduled for 1 PM at the party headquarters on the Square of Victims of Fascism, reports the portal 24sata.hr.
