The companies Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles and Đuro Đaković Industrial Solutions, both part of Đuro Đaković Holding, led by Tomislav Mazal, represent the first case in Croatia where a dualistic system is being reintroduced instead of the monistic management approach.
The general assemblies of both companies have decided to change their corporate governance structure and are transitioning from a monistic management system to a dualistic one. The monistic management structure, typical of foreign companies, differs from the dualistic one, where management and the supervisory board are separate, characterized by joint business management and oversight, as well as functional separation from operational management. Despite the fact that the possibility of introducing this management model in Croatia has existed since 2008, only a little over twenty companies have adopted it so far.
