At the end of October, there were 275,813 registered unemployed persons in Croatia, which is an increase of 6.3 percent compared to September, while on an annual basis, it is a decrease of 9.9 percent, according to data released on Tuesday by the Croatian Employment Service.

October marks the second consecutive month in which an increase in the number of unemployed is recorded on a monthly basis, as, following the peak of the tourist season, the number of unemployed rose in September compared to August. The number of unemployed also increased in October, and daily data from the Croatian Employment Service indicates that this trend continues into November.
