The global franchise system of real estate agencies RE/MAX held a convention in Berlin. The convention gathered 1,000 participants from 31 European countries along with guests from America and Canada.
The topics included the results achieved and plans for RE/MAX, and the program of the largest European convention to date covered current topics and trends from the real estate world. RE/MAX Europe recorded a 21% increase in revenue from real estate brokerage transactions in 2015, a 9% increase in the number of transactions, and a 2% increase in the number of franchise offices.
– The main theme of this year’s gathering was how to improve cooperation between countries, offices, and agents where RE/MAX operates in Europe. In RE/MAX Canada, over 90% of transactions are conducted in a way that one agent represents the buyer and another agent represents the seller, which leads to much faster sales realization. In Toronto, properties are sold on average in 23 days. Cooperation between agents increases the revenue generated. The goal is to expose the buyer to as many properties as possible so that they do not miss a good opportunity, and this is only possible through cooperation. This is also the direction and plan in which RE/MAX Croatia wants to further develop, stated the regional director for RE/MAX Croatia, Vladimir Žerjavić.
