First Conference in the Region on the Topic of E-Mobility

Savjetura, a Croatian business consulting company, is the co-organizer of the first international conference on the topic of e-mobility. E-Mobility – A Response to Today’s Problems

Environmental pollution from greenhouse gases and noise, increasing regulatory pressures, and the need to reduce costs… we are very familiar with the pressing issues of today. Is a solution emerging in the form of electromobility, i.e., in cost-effective, financially justified, and environmentally friendly technologies? We will find out the answer at the first regional conference on e-mobility, which will take place on November 12 at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb.

The co-organizers of the conference titled “Development of E-Mobility in Southeast Europe” are the domestic consulting company Savjetura and the British project Rapid Charge Network, co-financed by the EU’s TEN-T program. The organizers aim to inform the business community and the wider public in the region about the business advantages that electromobility brings. Companies or public institutions transitioning to electric commercial vehicles and cars will achieve numerous financial and market benefits: from increasing the value of the company or organization, better resource utilization, enhancing social responsibility and public profile of the company to achieving better profitability. For comparison, an electric vehicle saves the fleet owner over 7000 euros per vehicle on average over a four-year usage period.”

Renowned Speakers

The conference will guide participants through the issues of e-mobility through interesting lectures, discussions, and analysis of concrete experiences in Europe, all presented by eminent domestic and European experts. Attendees will also have the opportunity to test some of the electric vehicles displayed at the conference. In addition to experts from Savjetura, the conference will feature, among others, Dorothée Coucharrière, policy advisor at the Directorate for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission, Dr. Colin Herron, director of Zero Carbon Futures and visiting professor at Newcastle University, Henriette Spyra, expert in innovation and e-mobility at the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Austria, and Mette Hoé, program manager of Copenhagen Electric in the city of Copenhagen. This will be an ideal opportunity for Croatia to take the initiative in the region in the field of e-mobility, and the conference itself will outline guidelines for a sustainable path for the development of companies and public organizations.
