Terme Tuhelj Plans New Investments on the Wings of Good Business Results

In Terme Tuhelj, over 27,500 arrivals and more than 64,300 overnight stays were recorded in the first nine months, which is about 5.2 percent more than in the same period last year.

Financial indicators are also better this year, showing an increase of 7.5 percent compared to the same period in 2014.

– In the first nine months, revenue of 4.4 million euros was achieved – said the director of Terme Tuhelj, Ivana Kolar, at a conference in the Slovenian Terme Olimia.

The majority of guests, almost half, are domestic visitors mainly from Zagreb and Istria, while among foreign guests, Slovenians, Germans, Austrians, Italians, and Bosnians are in the lead. 

Due to the nice weather, the Water Planet bathing area recorded good results. It was visited by over 131,000 bathers, 8.3 percent more than in the same period last year. 

Terme Olimia also reported good results, with a guest increase of 2.2 percent compared to the nine months of last year, which is almost equal to the revenue growth of 12.8 million euros in 2015. 

In the coming year, Terme Tuhelj plans to invest 30,000 euros in the construction of a modular animation island with sound and lighting intended for children, and an additional 150,000 euros will be invested in the indoor bathing area also for entertainment for the youngest. An investment of 25,000 euros will be made in the infrastructure of the camp.
