Annual revenue of dm close to two billion kuna

In the business year 2015/2016, which for dm-drogerie markt started on October 1, the retail chain in Croatia will invest an additional 50 million kuna to increase the number of stores from the current 154 to 160.

With this number, dm will also mark the twentieth anniversary of the opening of its first store in Croatia.

At a press conference, where the entire management of dm, led by director Mirko Mrakužić, presented the business results for the previous business year, it was reported that the company approached the second billion kuna in annual revenue (specifically, it amounted to 1.964 billion kuna), with a profit of 70 million kuna achieved. dm’s market share in the total drugstore product market reached 26.78 percent.

– When we opened our first store in Croatia in 1996, with about ten employees and without significant logistics, we believed that we could develop and grow as a team with the company. Today, with an average salary in stores exceeding 8,600 kuna, we continue to encourage employees towards professional and personal development. We organized 96 workshops and seminars for employees and encouraged 593 of them to engage in volunteer activities in their community – stated Ana Fostač Krilčić, head of the Human Resources Department at dm.
