Končar – Distribution and Special Transformers (D&ST) achieved a net profit of 19.55 million kuna in the first nine months, representing a 21 percent increase compared to the same period last year, according to the company’s financial report published today.
The company’s total revenues amounted to 628 million kuna, an increase of 23 percent. The majority of revenues come from sales, which increased by 23.4 percent to 613.7 million kuna. Sales revenues in Croatia rose by 32 percent to 112 million kuna, while exports increased by 22 percent to 502 million kuna, accounting for 82 percent of sales revenue.
As stated in the report, total expenses of Končar D&ST in the first nine months amounted to 603.6 million kuna, which is an annual increase of 22.5 percent. At the end of September, the value of contracted jobs was 578 million kuna, a decrease of one percent compared to the same day last year when the value of contracted jobs was 582 million kuna.
– The management assesses that the overall condition of the company is stable. Continuous activities are being carried out to improve organization, rationalize operations, make developmental breakthroughs, reduce costs, contract new jobs, and generally enhance the competitive advantage of Končar D&ST in the market – the report states.
