Lena Habuš has been appointed as the head of EY Transaction Advisory Services, succeeding Urs Indermuhle, who will continue to lead the mentioned EY department in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
Habuš will be responsible for the overall operations of the department in Croatia and further strengthening EY’s position in Croatia, while the team she leads assists clients with financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions advisory, valuations, and other related services.
“Transaction advisory is one of the areas that is experiencing the fastest global growth at EY, and therefore we have been particularly focused in the last two years on expanding the range of services we can offer locally. In addition to a strong team providing due diligence services, we have also built a team of experts who are very familiar with the local market and who can assist clients in assessing company valuations, advising on mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring. Given the numerous opportunities currently available in the market, we plan to continue investing in strengthening EY’s position in this area,” emphasized Lena Habuš, a graduate economist who completed her MBA program at the prestigious American university Columbia Business School in New York.
She joined the EY team in early 2014, responsible for providing support to clients in the areas of restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations. She transitioned to EY from Atlantic Group, where as the head of business development, she was responsible for assessments and analyses of potential mergers and acquisitions, analyses of business development projects, and other business analyses of the Group, as well as communication with investors and other related tasks.
