After the sixth and seventh generations of startups graduated from the ZIP incubator this year, and three teams entered the new ZIP accelerator program, ZIP is welcoming eight new teams into its startup incubator program.
One of the main novelties for this generation lies in the recently signed strategic partnership with two venture capital funds, Austrian Pioneers Ventures and Speedinvest. For startups that pass through the ZIP incubator, this means access to greater funding than ever before: up to €125,000 in the pre-seed phase and up to €3 million in the early and growth phases of the startup.
Of course, for teams that complete the program, there is also the possibility of obtaining an initial investment from ZIP directly, up to £10,000, thanks to a successful “equity crowdfunding” campaign on the Seedrs.com platform last year, which raised £68,700 from 190 individual investors, equivalent to 660,000 kuna. ZIP teams that have already secured investments include Thorium A+, SnapTap, and Tutotod, while external investors have also invested in MobiCon, Fashable, Colomb.io, HockeyCoachVision, Greenpie, Tourism4me, and Madbarz.
