The entire PwC network announced that in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, it achieved a total gross revenue of $35.4 billion globally.
At constant exchange rates, PwC’s global revenues increased by 10% šrepresenting a significant increase compared to the previous year and the strongest annual growth since 2007. The growth was impressive across all business lines and geographical regions.
– The global business environment remains very challenging with uneven economic opportunities and geopolitical challenges causing uncertainty for businesses and fierce competition in the intellectual services market. Despite these challenges, the PwC network performed exceptionally well in the 2015 fiscal year with a 10% revenue growth that surpassed the $35 billion mark for the first time, said Dennis M. Nally, Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers International Ltd, adding: – Our largest growth in 8 years is the result of significant investments we directed towards hiring the best people, enhancing the quality of our services, and building a new product offering such as data analytics. We also continued with key strategic acquisitions to complement and expand our core business.
PwC member firms in North America and the Caribbean continued to grow strongly, with a revenue increase of 12%. The largest firm, PwC US, had an impressive year with a revenue growth of 10%, amounting to $12.2 billion, as well as strong growth across all service lines. Growth also significantly increased in Europe, with an 8% revenue growth in Western Europe and a 6% growth in Central and Eastern Europe. The second-largest firm within the network, PwC UK, achieved a revenue growth of 9%, amounting to $4.1 billion, with particularly strong growth in audit and accounting advisory services as well as business consulting. PwC firms in Italy grew by 11%, in Germany by 8%, and in France by 6%. In Croatia, an exceptional total revenue growth of 22% was achieved in the 2015 fiscal year compared to 2014. Revenues in South and Central America grew by 8% while in Asia they increased by 9%. Double-digit growth was achieved in the Middle East and Africa (16%), as well as in Australia, Oceania, and the Pacific Islands (11%).
