Bruno Filipi is the new management name at Atlantic Group

In early November, the Strategic Business Area of Sports and Active Nutrition will receive a strong managerial boost with the arrival of new colleague Bruno Filipi as the CEO of SPP SAP.

Following the intensification of the internationalization process of Atlantic Group’s business, the Strategic Business Area SAP, currently with the largest international presence, is facing strategic and operational challenges that need to be effectively addressed in order to capitalize on all potentials and achieve the results expected from SPP SAP. With an experienced and professional team in this strategic area, the new significant managerial reinforcement will help achieve the goals set for SPP SAP. Bruno Filipi, as a manager with extensive experience, will take on the role of CEO for a period of 18 months, with the main goal of establishing and directing the entire business and organization of SPP for sustainable and stable long-term growth.

The strategic focus of SPP SAP’s development will be twofold — aimed at further brand development, which is one of the main pillars of Atlantic Group’s internationalization, and at operational efficiency in order to achieve and maintain business profitability.

Bruno Filipi joins Atlantic Group from the position of President of Coca Cola South Pacific, where he was responsible for Coca Cola’s operations in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, and managed the franchise system of three independent bottlers. Prior to that, he worked at Coca Cola Greater China as Vice President and General Manager for China. He successfully executed a business turnaround at Lura Group from 2004 to 2006. Before that, he worked at Coca Cola for the Adriatic and SEE regions, starting as a market development manager and advancing to the position of CEO. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and furthered his education at prestigious schools such as Harvard Business School, IMD, Lausanne, and London Business School.
