After joining the European Union, SPAR Croatia has enabled many Croatian producers to market their products within the SPAR group.
„The result of successful cooperation with Croatian producers in 2014 was the export of their products worth around 50 million euros through SPAR stores in Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, and Italy. We are particularly pleased that this year the export growth has continued, with an increase in the first three quarters of 24.1% for the Austrian market, 24% for Hungary, and 7.4% for Slovenia,„ said Mr. Helmut Fenzl, CEO of SPAR Croatia.
In addition to large Croatian producers who marketed their products through SPAR stores last year, such as: PIK Vrbovec, Gavrilović, Ledo, Podravka, Zvijezda, Dukat, Jamnica, we are especially pleased with the success of smaller Croatian producers who offered their products to European customers this year with the support of SPAR Croatia.
The turnover of 50 million euros last year and the export growth this year to the markets of Hungary, Austria, and Slovenia are undoubtedly arguments in favor of SPAR’s policy of cooperation with Croatian producers, they conclude at SPAR.
