Prices of all types of fuel have increased today. After two weeks of decline, the price of a liter of eurosuper 95 has risen by 7 lipa and is sold in the range of 9.11 to 9.14 kuna, depending on the company. The price of a liter of eurodiesel has also increased.
According to information from the portal cijenegoriva.info, drivers are now paying 5 lipa more for a liter of this type of fuel than last week. The price of a liter of eurodiesel ranges between 8.51 and 8.55 kuna, depending on the company.
Drivers using autogas also have no reason for satisfaction. On Tuesday, the price of a liter of autogas increased by 7 lipa and is now sold for around 3.97 kuna. This marks the seventh consecutive week that the price of this type of fuel has not decreased. At some stations, such as Crodux, the price of autogas is slightly above four kuna (which is also the highest price for autogas in the past four months), while, for example, Plinski centar Zagreb sells it for 3.75 kuna.
The new fuel prices in Croatia are a result of the movements in the prices of derivatives in the so-called Mediterranean market and the unfavorable exchange rate of the dollar and kuna (as we anticipated last week). The price of crude oil in global markets has slightly decreased in the last few days and is around 47 dollars per barrel, which, if it continues, could also affect a slight decrease in prices in the Mediterranean. Considering the continued rise in the exchange rate of the dollar and kuna (on Tuesday, the exchange rate was 6.82, while last week’s average was around 6.76), if these trends continue, we might expect a slight increase in fuel prices next week.
