A month ago, I wrote that every point for Dinamo in the Champions League would be a surprise. And on Wednesday, we immediately got – a triple surprise. Kudos – three points against Arsenal and … millions of euros in the account!
I still maintain that finishing in third place in the group, which would secure European spring (in the consolation Europa League), would be a real sensation, while entering among the 16 best clubs in Europe – a miracle of miracles. As an old Dinamo fan, I continue, as every autumn, to cheer for a miracle or at least for a sensational spring in the Europa League. And the new national team coach Ante Čačić is also dreaming of a late spring in Europe – in France.
