After nearly 12 hours, the difficulties in using the telecommunications services of Hrvatski Telekom have been resolved.
Shortly after 1 PM, HT reported that the malfunction had been rectified, thus fully normalizing telecommunications traffic.
– We sincerely apologize to everyone who experienced difficulties in using our services, HT stated.
They claim that during the difficulties, there was never a complete interruption of telecommunications services. Unfortunately, there is still no information on the nature of the malfunction.
– The causes will be known after a detailed analysis by HT’s experts and partners, they stated, adding that uninterrupted availability has been ensured for emergency service 112 through rerouting.
We remind you that problems with HT’s network appeared on Tuesday at 2:50 AM across almost the entire country due to the interruption of a large number of connections in the telecommunications network. There were also issues with establishing all mobile calls (with area codes 098, 099, and 097), as well as fixed calls and internet access. Unofficially, there was information that many ATMs were not operational across the country due to the connection with HT’s network, and there were problems with card payments in stores. Meanwhile, the Tax Administration reported that due to technical difficulties at HT, the Tax Administration system is unable to provide regular services to taxpayers.
