For the second consecutive week, fuel prices are falling. Today, the price of a liter of eurosuper 95 is cheaper by 19 lipa, making a 50-liter tank cheaper by 12.50 kuna over the last two weeks.
The price of eurosuper 95 now ranges between 9.03 kuna and 9.06 kuna, depending on the company. At some stations, gasoline is sold for less than 9 kuna per liter, such as Plinski centar Zagreb, which sells it for 8.92 kuna.
The price of a liter of eurodiesel is also cheaper. According to information from the portal cijenegoriva.info, drivers are paying 12 lipa less for this type of fuel since Tuesday. Thus, a 50-liter tank of eurodiesel is cheaper by a total of 9 kuna over the last two weeks. The price of a liter of eurodiesel ranges between 8.47 and 8.50 kuna, depending on the company.
Drivers using autogas have reasons to be satisfied. After five consecutive weeks of increases, this negative trend has been broken. Namely, on Tuesday, the price of this type of fuel remained unchanged, which is positive considering the recent price movements.
The new fuel prices in Croatia are a result of the decline in derivative prices in the so-called Mediterranean market and favorable movements in the exchange rate of the dollar and kuna. Given that the price of crude oil on global markets has been hovering around 48 dollars per barrel for just over a week with signs of slight growth, which could affect price increases in the Mediterranean, and considering the rise in the exchange rate of the dollar and kuna (on Tuesday, the exchange rate was 6.75, while last week’s average was around 6.67), if these trends continue, we might expect a slight increase in fuel prices next week.
