On the Zagreb Stock Exchange on Monday, the Crobex indices fell to their lowest levels since the first half of 2014, primarily influenced by a drop in the price of Adris’s preferred shares by more than 10 percent.
The Crobex index was down 1.45 percent around noon, at 1,684 points, marking its lowest level since May 21, 2014, when it closed at 1,675 points. At the same time, Crobex10 plummeted 1.89 percent, to 983 points, the lowest level since June 4, 2014, when it closed at 981 points. Regular trading amounted to 3 million kuna, which is approximately 800,000 less than on Friday at the same time.
– On the domestic market, Crobex indices sharply fell, primarily due to the drop in the price of Adris shares by more than 10 percent, as they are now traded without the right to a dividend of 40 kuna per share, says Ivana Blašković, a financial analyst at Zagrebačka banka.
Adris’s preferred shares were the biggest losers among more liquid issues, with a price drop of 10.2 percent, to 351 kuna, with a turnover of 357,000 kuna. The regular issue of Adris also recorded a sharp price drop of nearly 11 percent, to 450 kuna, but with only 6,300 kuna in turnover.
The most liquid was the share of Privredna banka Zagreb, with a turnover of 888 thousand kuna. Its price fell by 0.7 percent, to 610 kuna. Next is the share of Jadroagent, with a turnover of 452,000 kuna and a price drop of 0.72 percent, to 1,000 kuna. A significant price drop is also recorded by the share of RIZ Odašiljača, down 4.84 percent. At the same time, the largest price increase was achieved by the share of Slatinska banka, up nearly 15 percent, followed by shares of Tankerska Next Generation, with a price increase of nearly 5 percent. Blašković adds that the entire market is in a negative mood.
